Andrey Kireyev

One of a small number of Russian artists engaged in creating 'sonic mystery', Andrey began his career in composition by making his own effects units and processors from scratch, a practice he continues to this day in digital environments. Several outstanding musical projects from the early '90s had their genesis in Andrey's early studio experiments and live performances. His compositions and melodies can be heard on recordings made by heroes of the Moscow underground scene. In 1994, he co-founded Future Records, the first Russian label specializing in experimental music releases. Over the course of his career he also released recordings on upwards of twenty different labels. Today, he produces music for media projects, live performances, and cinema, as well as collaborating with artists at home and abroad via the internet.
